Morning Cruises with Optional Village Stops
The Village Explorer allows guests to cruise between Clayton and Alexandria Bay, with the option to step ashore and enjoy time exploring one of the river villages.
Departing Clayton – 10:15 AM
Board at the Antique Boat Museum docks and cruise through the beautiful American Narrows to Alexandria Bay.
Arrive 11:00 AM
Guests may choose to:
- Spend 3 hours exploring Alexandria Bay
- Visit Boldt Castle on Heart Island using complimentary shuttle boat tickets
- Explore the shops, restaurants, and waterfront of Alexandria Bay
- Or remain aboard and continue the scenic cruise around Wellesley Island, returning to Clayton at 1:00 PM
Guests who explore Alexandria Bay may reboard the cruise at 2:00 PM and complete the scenic loop back to Clayton.

Begin your journey in Alexandria Bay and enjoy a scenic cruise around Wellesley Island.
Arrive in Clayton at 1:00 PM at the Antique Boat Museum docks.
Guests may choose to:
- Spend 3 hours exploring Clayton
- Visit the Antique Boat Museum
- Enjoy Clayton’s waterfront parks, shops, and restaurants
- Or remain aboard and continue cruising back through the American Narrows to Alexandria Bay.
Guests exploring Clayton may return to Alexandria Bay on the 4:00 PM cruise.
The Adventurer Scenic Loop
Afternoon Continuous Scenic Cruises
For guests who prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery, the Scenic Loop offers a continuous sightseeing cruise through the Thousand Islands with no village stops.
This scenic route travels around Wellesley Island and through the narrow island passages of the American Narrows, offering beautiful views of island homes, historic estates, and ships traveling the St. Lawrence Seaway.
